What is this?

NicaBuses gathers in one place the departure times, fares and terminals of Nicaragua's buses: express and local intercity buses, minibuses, international coaches, boats and the Managua city routes. It currently covers 220 routes in 84 cities and 54 terminals. It works on any phone, can be installed as an app and keeps the pages you visit available offline.

Where does the data come from?

From three sources: the signs and staff at the terminals, the cooperatives and operators who publish their schedules with us, and reports from travellers. Every route shows whether its data is verified (confirmed directly) or indicative (based on public information and reports), plus the date of the last update. Managua city routes are based on the OpenStreetMap community survey (ODbL licence).

Last general data update: 30 oct 2026

Important

Schedules and fares are set by the cooperatives and operators and can change without notice, especially around holidays, Holy Week and the end of the year. Use this site as a guide and confirm at the terminal. We are not affiliated with the Ministry of Transport (MTI), IRTRAMMA or any cooperative, and we do not sell tickets for now.

How can you help?

  • Email us a schedule or fare that changed, or a route that is missing.
  • Send a photo of the schedule board at a terminal.
  • Share the site with someone who travels often.
