バスでGranada ↔ León（Managua経由）

ステップ1: Granada → Managua (UCA)
Minibus from Shell Palmira, 1 hour, C$45–50. It arrives at the UCA terminal.
ステップ2: Managua (UCA) → León
At the same terminal, find the León minibus: 1 h 30, C$70–80. They leave when full, until 8:00 PM.
ステップ3: Alternative: direct shuttle
Agencies and hostels sell direct Granada–León shuttles for US$12–20 per person, about 3 hours, with hotel pick-up. Handy with big luggage.

- León → Granada is exactly the same in reverse, also via UCA.
- Avoid reaching UCA after 7:30 PM: the last minibus can take a while to fill up.

A couple in their late forties spent seven weeks travelling Nicaragua by public transport only. From Granada they changed smoothly at UCA for León and carried on to Estelí: buses always left on time, they were never overcharged, and whenever they wondered if they were in the right place an older man would appear and put them right. To them Nicaragua is a wonderful country with wonderful people, with a friendly vibe, especially up north.

GranadaはManaguaから1時間。UCA発のミニバスがいちばん速くて快適です。Huembes発のバスは安く、Masayaに停車します。
Laguna de Apoyoへの行き方
湖畔まで下りるバスはありません。GranadaとMasayaまたはManaguaを結ぶバスならどれでも入口で降りられ、そこからタクシー、モトタクシー、または徒歩で下ります。
Managua → León、León → Las Peñitas
LeónへはUCAからミニバスで1時間30分。PoneloyaとLas Peñitasのビーチへは、そこからSubtiava市場発のバスでさらに30分です。
